Tim Schmidt

AIA

Architect

Tim decided he wanted to pursue architecture after receiving praise for his math skills and drawing of the onion domes of Saint Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas in 2009 and worked at the U of A Community Design Center, which shaped his sense of urban design and place making. He believes architecture should create a sense of place and positively affect the community, which requires thinking at a large scale and carrying great design through to the small scale. Tim enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their daughter and son, hiking, and getting in as much basketball as he can.
